Reidy Enjoys Easter Trail Spoils At Avalon Raceway

Avalon Raceway’s season came to a spectacular conclusion on Good Friday when the biggest crowd of the season witnessed 45 cars contesting night one of the 29th Camden Neon Signs Easter Sprintcar Trail. A last man standing Demolition Derby rounded out the season along with the popular fireworks display. Both followed Brisbane based Danny Reidy’s stunning victory in the Sprintcar A-main.

Geeolong's Avalon Raceway hosted their season ending Easter Sprintcar Trail round on Friday night in front of the largest crowd of the season. Popular ace Danny Reidy raced to the win ahead of event sponsor Camden Neon Signs driver Steven Lines while perenial contender Robbie Farr filled third.

Simpson’s John Vogels stormed to a calculating win Saturday night at Geelong’s Avalon Raceway during the action packed 25 lap, Eureka Sheds and Garages Great Southern Showdown. Vogel’s withstood several challenges from ninth starting Grant Anderson who raced to second while Mike Van Bremen’s consistency ensured he finished on the podium in third.

President Tatnell Tames A Quick Avalon Raceway

Australian Sprintcar champion Brooke Tatnell gained the early ascendancy and never looked back as he raced to the win at Avalon Raceway on Wednesday night capturing the annual President’s Cup in the process. Tatnell headed a classy podium as defending event winner Robbie Farr raced to second ahead of third placed Steven Lines.
