Rain Wins Showdown At Avalon Raceway

The inclement weather has forced the cancellation of tonight's Great Southern Showdown event for Sprintcars at Geelong's Avalon Raceway. Heavy rain overnight has been welcome for the region however it has severely hampered racing this weekend.

Avalon Raceway is set to roar back into life on March 20 with their second last speedway event of the season.
